PizzaFest Saturday, November 3, 5-7pm Who doesn’t love pizza!? Advance online tickets for this all-you-can-eat pizza-tasting extravaganza on Saturday, November 3 are on sale until 5pm on Friday, November 2. The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire will welcome 8 area restaurants to come up with their yummiest, most crazy pizza flavors and pit them against each other in a taste-challenge! Participating restaurants this year include Dominos of Dover, Dover House of Pizza, Kendall Pond Pizza II, La Festa Brick & Brew Pizzeria, Papa Gino’s of Dover, Papa Jay’s Pizzeria, Strafford House of Pizza and Thirsty Moose Taphouse of Dover. Who will be crowned this year’s winner? You and three judges will decide. This year’s judges are David Richard and Roland LaPointe from D.F. Richard Energy, and local accordion musician and composer Gary Sredzienski. This is a family friendly fundraiser to support the museum’s education and outreach programs. There will be a raffle happening during the pizza-tasting, so people can purchase raffle tickets and enter to win a variety of items including children’s books, gift cards, jewelry, an American Girl Doll and more! In addition there is an online auction happening Saturday, November 3 at 9am through Sunday, November 11 at 9pm at www.biddingforgood.com/cmnhPizzaFest. Items up for bid in the online auction include things like restaurant gift cards, memberships to local institutions, passes to local and regional attractions and so much more! Advance tickets are $10 per adult and $7 for ages 3-10. Tickets purchased at the door will be $12 per adult and $9 for ages 3-10. Children under the age of 3 are FREE.
